We were able to get down to NJ for a quick- VERY quick- visit. While we were there, we joined the GBF gang at their annual church picnic. Jake and Lauren played in the softball game and Christina was the official photographer. Thanks to Nina for taking pictures! It was good to catch up and see many friends.
We were also able to celebrate Mimi and Poppy's 25th Anniversary! Hopefully, next time we come to Jersey, we will stay for at least 24 hours!!!!

I thoroughly enjoy the perspective of one couple's enjoyment of the softball game. Jake is totally into it (what my little league team would have called "softball ready") and Lauren, not so much. L - you were the player I would have said "ok, just come sit on the bench with me and I'll give you some gum and sunflower seeds." lol
