Christmas was special for a number of reasons. First, it is always important to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas and to thank God for sending His Son Jesus to the manger so long ago.Also, this year, we were thankful for the whole family being together. The 3 cousins who have met before when they were very small and now the newest member, adorable Michael. The kids had so much fun being together.
But this Christmas was also unique in that, it involved an engagement. For those who don't know, Daniel shocked us all by proposing to Elisabeth! We were all anxiously waiting for them to come inside and saying to each other "do you think?....no, I don't think...do you think?" But soon there were hugs, screams, smiles and jumping!!!! We are so excited for them!
