Thanksgiving 2008

This year we continued our tradition of spending Thanksgiving in New Jersey. After celebrating Thanksgiving, we have a little Christmas time too. We had fun with Mimi, Poppy and Nanny. And we were thankful that Nanny was okay after taking a fall on Thanksgiving day and dislocating her shoulder! She is a trooper! Gracie had fun decorating the tree and putting many ornaments on a single branch. We also have a tradition of making cookies the next day...cookies that have been in the family for a long time. And to finish it all off, we celebrate Mommy's upcoming birthday with her favorite cake! What a packed few days! We were thankful to be together and grateful to see Nanny since she lives far away now. The Lord protected us as we traveled and gave us a wonderful time together. Gracie even got to see her Uncle Mark and cousin Elliott!
We are thankful to the Lord for all He has done for us and for sending His Son to be our Savior!
