Last week we loaded up the truck and headed for PA to spend several days with Josh, Can and Cole. Jake and Josh put in new hard wood floors that looked amazing! While the guys worked hard all day, Candace, the kids and myself visited the hot spots of southern PA.
Anyone who knows me will know that I HAD to frequent Chick-fil-A!!! It never lets me down! Candace also took us to an amazing indoor greenhouse and the best of all....MONKEY JOES! That was such a fun place. I don't know if I had more fun or the kids? Loved it! My friend Mary even met us there and it was great to see her!
Abigail took a special liking to Uncle Joshie. Each time he came in the room she would do the sign-language sign for "please" and put her arms up to him!!! It was adorable!
To say that Cole and Gracie had fun would be a huge understatement. They not only got along very well, and shared like pros, but they had fun dressing up together too! (Doesn't the pic of them in their towels just remind you of little Joshie and little Jakey?!?!?)
They are such cuties and hilarious to listen to when they are having a conversation:
Grace hands Cole a huge handful of goldfish crackers and says "want some Cole?"
Cole puts his hand over his mouth and exclaims "I'll choke!!!"
Grace calmly says "You don't eat all of them at once."
This is a perfect example of their little personalities!!!
I seriously could type a novel here about how much we enjoyed being with Josh, Can, Cole and even the Yzzi's, who had us for dinner! (thanks!!) And we are so excited about their continued journey to meet their precious daughter from Ethiopia!! We are praying for her even now and look forward to meeting her!!!
Thanks for having us guys! Thank you for your generosity, kindness and hospitality! We love you.
