These pictures of the kitchen are slightly brighter so you can better see the slate blue accent color by the ceiling. It was chosen because of a set of vintage plates I found YEARS ago in a Salvation Army with my sis-in-law Candace. (We weren't related at the time and had no clue we ever would be!!) I will try to take a pic of the plates soon.The flowers are compliments of Jake and are currently in the kitchen window. They are so pretty and cheerful!
We also purchased a new light fixture for above the sink, but alas...no picture of it yet.
And we bought a 'countertop paint' as an experiment to cover up the retro style that is currently showing. We will see how that goes...
