VBS 2010

This was Grace's first full week of VBS at Cornerstone Baptist Church! She had such a great time! The theme was Sea Quest- Diving for God's Treasure. Her teachers were Mrs. Sienna (her Sunday School teacher) and Mrs. Kent. Wonderful ladies who did a wonderful job making VBS memorable in Grace's life.
Here are a few highlights:
1. During the "Penny Parade" (the kids bring pennies, dump them into buckets- one for each team- and the money goes to a missionary) Grace threw her two change purses into the buckets instead of dumping the money out. She later laughed when she realized she was supposed to empty the purses out.
2. Lauren got to enjoy a "Mom's Class" taught by Mom & Dad Jones where we studied being holy and also being spiritually healthy.
3. On Friday, Grace won first place in the coloring contest for her age group!

It was a great week and we pray that the Lord will continue to use the truths that were taught, both in Grace's life as well as the other children who came to VBS 2010.
