Yard Sale

Today was a perfect day. Blue sky, crisp morning, warm sunshine. It was also a very special day. Today we had a yard sale to help raise money for Josh & Can as they adopt a little girl from Ethiopia and we saw God's hand moving through it all.

The Lord blessed us with so many people who wanted to donate items for the yard sale, to support Josh and Candace. SO MANY of Jake's coworkers contributed items as well as Grandpa, Nana, Josiah, Jeremiah, Mimi & Poppy! God was at work as we watched numerous vehicles arrive and items get sold one by one! It was so amazing to see how so many people were willing to help.

The buyers, too, were so kind. When they heard that the yard sale was for the adoption many of them gave more money than their total amount. Neighbors came out and joyfully bought things to help too.

God was so gracious through it all. He gave us witnessing opportunities...He allowed us to meet a fellow believer who lives on our street... and He reunited us with some friends who were looking for a church and asked about ours!!

We are thankful for how the Lord orchestrated every detail before, after and during the day. And we are so excited for how the Lord has led Josh, Candace and Cole along this journey of adoption. They are getting closer and closer to seeing this precious little girl and we can't wait!!
If you would like to help contribute in any way, please see their website.

Praise God for His blessings and how He leads His children along!
