Everything But the Kitchen Floor

We survived life for five years with this hideous floor and felt that it was time to cover it up for good.(For its own good. For our good. For the good of all mankind.) Our first attempt was to throw a large rug over the whole thing, which worked for a while.

But we are happy to say, that after planning ahead and saving a little....we now have a much nicer floor. (Thanks to my awesome hubby carpenter man!) There are still some parts that are not finished yet but I had to put some of these pictures up just to share in our excitement!!!! Doesn't it look SO much better already?

(We also included a pic of Abs and her daddy. Notice her hands. He was standing that way and she copied him. So cute!)
