Hermits, Amoxicillin, and a Doublel Ear Infection

What kind of title is that, you ask? No, we didn't get a hermit crab. {though my friend in elementary school had one and I always thought it would be cool.}

I'm just updating you on our lives, as any good "family blog" would do. Abigail was especially complainy recently. {I know that's not really a word.} Just miserable...really. I finally took her to the Dr. to see if it was just her teeth coming in that was bothering her. Alas, it was a double ear infection!!! The Dr. said her ears were in really bad shape. Poor little thing. Who knew?

So, amoxicillin has become our new best friend. Each day seems to get a sliver better as she recovers. Horray for medicine! Thank you Lord for being our Great Physician and taking care of our every need.

Lately, the Lord has been bringing the beautiful verse in Isaiah 26:3 to my mind.
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."

What an amazing, comforting promise that we can rest in!
