Welcome Bert Jones

Grace had been hinting for a while that she would LOVE to have a bunny to love and care for.

"Nana said I could have one of their bunnies..." she said one Sunday.
"Who is going to take care of it?" Mommy asked.
"Oh, I will! I LOVE bunnies!"
"Have you ever held a bunny?"
"No, but I love them. I will feed him breakfast, lunch and dinner!"
Daddy told her to pray about it. :)

At another visit to Nana & Grandpa's house the two girls were swooning over the bunnies. You could see the love in their eyes. lol

Sooooo we agreed to 'babysit' Mr. Bert Jones. (Grace named him. Not after Ernie and Bert. After the Marypoppins Bert.)

So far it seems as though he just might be here to stay as we all have grown to love the little guy. The funny part is that anyone who knows me {Lauren} knows that I am not an animal person in the slightest. But Bert sure is cute. I'm enjoying having him around. We even bought him some toys and things from the store!!!!

So, I'm sure you will see much more of Bert Jones on our blog. He may have found a new home... :)
