Teen Christmas Party
In keeping with tradition, this year's "Teen Christmas Party" was at the lovely home of Matt and Rebecca. And again we did the white elephant gift exchange- o so fun!
Prior to their house we were supposed to minister at the nursing home, but when we got there...we realized that they had scheduled us for the following day. Since the Lord is in control of all things... and has a perfect plan....we continued on with the activity and just planned on doing the nursing home for the next day.
The white elephant game this year included money in a balloon, a rubber snake, a crazy yellow hat, and a HUGE bar of peppermint.
Notice Abby's pictures:
First her not-so-loving-it face when she opened the "scary toy" as she called it.
Then, after trading with a kind teen, her I'm-so relieved face with her new game.
Grace opened the rubber snake gift and we thought she'd be afraid. Instead she said "I'll name him Billy."
The Christmas Party was so much fun and our fellowship the following day turned out to be a special blessing. We praise the Lord for another year of serving with these awesome teens!
